The Lost Paintings

The Tate archive holds a "List of photographs of MN [Mabel Nicholson's] paintings" compiled by Ben Nicholson not long after her death in 1918. The V&A holds a copy of the catalogue to the memorial exhibition of her work held at Goupil Gallery, London, in 1920. These suggest that at least fifteen of Mabel’s paintings remain unaccounted for and photographs of some of them are below.
